Alison has been drawn to the idea of Design as Activism since her first class at SAIC. She enjoys brainstorming to develop simple solutions for complex problems.
As a student, she executed 3 projects that while not specifically interior design, they demonstrated her ability to identify a problem and design/execute a simple, affordable, and efficient solution that positively impacted her community. This principle is part of her approach to each and every design decision she makes.
She has been involved in projects with Rebuilding Together, Morgan Park and 101 Broadway in Chesterton, IN to name a few.
